Now that Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 is generally available, it’s clear that Microsoft has created a truly comprehensive business management solution. We’d like to make you aware of several enhancements in this new release that will simplify the user experience and put additional tools at your disposal. Keep in mind the descriptions below are just the tip of the iceberg regarding these features, so if you would like additional information, please let us know.

Warehouse Management and Inventory
To help manage the flow of inventory items and improve visibility, NAV 2013 includes six different ways to view and analyze inventory. Enhancements have been made around Inventory Movement, Dedicated Bins, and Integration to Service Orders.

Assembly Management
Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 includes features that help manage assemblies in integration with planning, sales, and warehousing. This provides more options around assemble to order and assemble to stock, and is especially helpful for light manufacturers with warehouses or distribution centers and suppliers who use kitting and assembly processes.

Financial Management
NAV 2013 provides better visibility into budget deviations and expenditures with enhanced Cost Accounting features. It also contains easier tools for measuring cash flow, allowing users to integrate values from the General Ledger, Purchasing, Service, and Sales and Marketing. New VAT rate change tools help perform rate conversions and maintain accurate VAT reporting.

Online Credit Card Payments
Allow your customers to pay with a credit card when they place an order. The payment will be authorized when the order is placed, and processed when shipped. This will provide flexible payment options and make it easy for customers to do business with you.

CRM Integration
The ability to connect Microsoft Dynamics CRM with Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 is even simpler than before. By synchronizing the data between the two systems, it improves data integrity and reduces the risks that come with using multiple disparate systems. On-premise and online versions of CRM are both supported.
